Allariz, a gastro-cultural paradise
In this itinerary you will spend a day discovering new spaces and flavours through a guided route through the town of Allariz and the enterprising parish of Vilar de Santos. A route full of culture and gastronomy to do alone or accompanied, and with many unique experiences along the way. It starts in Allariz, just 25km from Ourense.

1. CULTURAL VISIT GUIDED BY XEITURA( 11.00 - 12.30 )

Get to know the history of the town of Allariz through the most curious stories that happened there. This route is guided by XEITURA, a cooperative with a multidisciplinary team specialised in the research, protection and dissemination of heritage.
Meeting point: PLAZA DE ABASTOS (Praza do Matadeiro, 1, 32660 Allariz, Ourense)

2. TASTING OF LOCAL PRODUCTS

Time : 12:30 pm
Tasting of products in the Allariz market. Faragullas milk bread with elderberry jam from Carabuñas + Faragullas wheat and rye bread with cheese from O Rexo + Faragullas carob biscuits.
The tasting will be coordinated by Xeitura.

4. GUIDED TOUR IN O REXO

After lunch, you will drive (8 min from Allariz) to the Ecoespacio O Rexo, where Noemí from Xeitura will be waiting for you to explain the O Rexo project and guide you through the organic farm, visit the animals and visit the cheese factory.

Note: the price of this route does not include dinner The reservation of a table to see the show is assured, but as the menu is not closed, each person will pay the price of the dinner externally at the end of the show in the establishment itself.
Payment must be made at the time of the experience.
Booking cancellations are possible up to three days before the date of the experience. After these three days only 50% of the total cost of the booking will be refunded. Cancellation instructions are included in the confirmation email.
The route through Allariz can be adapted for people with reduced mobility, although it should be noted that the area is cobbled. Similarly, the access to the Abastos market where the tasting takes place is adapted. On the other hand, the guided visit to the eco-space-farm O rexo can be adapted in the outdoor area, but perhaps there is some part of the cheese factory or the farm that makes it difficult to access it completely.

- A Arca da Noe: a space for meetings, conversations and surprises. A concert hall mixed with a tavern with a dense programme of music, workshops, family activities and experiences that you will only find here. A place to lose yourself in the landscape, the flavours and discover new sounds and old sounds.
- Carabuñas: behind the project we are Eva and Nelson, "Los del saúco". Our project was born in 2012, when we started experimenting and developing recipes with elderberry flowers and berries. We decided to innovate and the elderberry became the undisputed protagonist of our brand and part of our history...
- O Rexo: our cheese is born from our attachment to the land, from the desire to maintain the territory in the same conditions in which our grandfathers and grandmothers left it to us as an inheritance Our farm is located in the eco-space; the work resulting from the pictorial and sculptural intervention of the Basque artist Agustín Ibarrola in a natural space. We encourage you to visit our farm, located just 20km from Vilar de Santos.
- Faragullas. We are Carme and Fernando and we make bread and sweets, among other products, in our traditional oven, respecting the artisan process and using organic and local products. We also offer bread workshops for the little ones. We are in Vilar de Santos.
The minimum number of participants is 10 and the maximum is 20.
This is a route aimed especially at adults, as both the route and the dynamics are not designed to be adapted to children. Likewise, the minimum age recommended to participate in the route is 14 years old approx.
