The ESS Way is managed by L’Olivera (Catalonia), Reas Aragón, El Colletero (La Rioja), Centro de Desarrollo Rural Carrión de los Condes (Castilla y León) and Reas Galicia.

At L’Olivera we have extensive experience in territorial dynamization and accompanying people at risk of exclusion towards a full life.

In 2017 we started a new line of business based on Social and Sustainable Wine Tourism through which 6 jobs have been generated for people with disabilities. In 2020, we launched an insertion company dedicated solely to this purpose.

Since 2015, our entity has been supporting collective entrepreneurship and accompanying the constitution and consolidation of entrepreneurial initiatives with the principles and values of the Social and Solidarity Economy.

We have supported more than 300 projects in different sectors through the program Centro de Recursos para la Innovación Social y fomento del Cooperativismo (Resource Center for Social Innovation and Promotion of Cooperativism), better known as Emprendes.net. From this program we have supported a large number of projects related to sustainable tourism in different sectors, food sovereignty, leisure and vacations, cycling tourism, cultural projects, welfare projects, care projects and projects directly oriented to the revitalization of the rural world.

It was created in 2000, to generate employment, training and sustainable development and equity for the people of Nalda and its rural environment.

Through rural women’s networks we work with people from all villages. Together we fight against depopulation, seeking that agro-transforming experiences with biocultural content become sources of employment or increase income through sustainable tourism.

Within REAS Rioja, the network to which we belong as an entity, we work to generate a rural social market, which makes visible the role of these experiences in sustainable development and land stewardship. As in the case of the women artisans, we intend to make it a tourist resource that allows them to live and stay in the villages.

It was founded in 1990 with the objective of generating integral development processes, linked to the implementation of services and activities that improve the quality of life of the people of the region of Carrión de los Condes (Palencia). Throughout more than 30 years we have implemented different projects related to education, social services, economic development and environmental care.

In the last decade, under the slogan: “Sustaining life in Tierra de Campos: Taking care of the people and the territory they inhabit”, actions have been carried out such as: support for entrepreneurial initiatives in the region; launching of the Tierra Project (restaurant, sale of products from social projects, organic and local food); food delivery service in the villages of the region; employment exchange and labor intermediation; training for employment; and organization of cultural activities and revitalization of the region.

Since 2012, the year of its foundation, in the Network of Alternative and Solidarity Economy of Galicia we have been working on actions to coordinate, energize and strengthen the socio-economic and business fabric of entities adhering to the charter of principles of the Solidarity Economy. REAS Galicia’s partners include organizations linked to rural development, cultural and heritage management, ethnography, environmental education and rural tourism.

In recent years, specifically since 2020, we have been developing, thanks to the support of the EUSUMO network, the support program to improve the communication of Social Economy entities. The objective of this program is to provide support to entities to build a narrative that allows them to differentiate themselves and make visible their differential factor as organizations that have a positive social impact. During these years, personalized advice was provided to 120 entities belonging to the Galician Social Economy.
