Did you know that Trasmoz is the only excommunicated village in Spain? A title proudly borne by this small town full of history and mystery on the slopes of Moncayo. Seven and a half centuries after being condemned, it is still excommunicated by the Catholic Church for having refused to submit to the powerful monastery of Veruela, the first of the Cistercian order in Aragon. From that moment on, his story is linked to magic, witchcraft and pride...

In this experience, in the hands of Trasmozero, you can enjoy a guided tour of the village and the castle, accompanied by a tasting of local and seasonal products and, weather permitting, also a walk through nature.

Attention:

• This is a group experience.
• The price is 10 euros per person for groups between 10 and 15 people. Children under 5 years old are free of charge.
• If the group is less than 10 people, a minimum amount of 100 euros must be paid.
• The price includes the entrance to the castle and the tasting.

Welcome to Trasmoz

The appointment is in the car park of Trasmoz from where we will go out to walk through its streets telling the most exciting stories of the only excommunicated and cursed village in Spain. A place that Bécquer and many other poets fell in love with for its magic and witchcraft; the viewpoint of the olive trees from where you can see the Moncayo, the famous cemetery, squares, small squares, statues, mythical houses, herbariums, commemorative plaques, church, and many surprises...

BETWEEN HEDGES

Time : 12:00 pm

Visit to the castle

At 12 o'clock we will enter the restored castle and go up to the tower from where we will admire the views. Entrance to the castle is included in the price of the visit.

TASTING

Time : 1:00 pm

Mmmmm...

Finally, taste the gastronomy of Trasmoz; you will have the opportunity to pair four types of healthy gluten-free bread, made in the village by the Trasmozero, with local products: cheese, oil, honey and seasonal products from the garden.
