Itineraries
FIRST STOP: THE EARTH
Time : 12:00 pm
Ascara
In the village of Ascara there is a place where they are committed to the land and to recovering traditional crops and flavours; this is Cielos de Ascara. In this experience you can discover how they are recovering traditional varieties of legumes and grains from the Pyrenees, but also discover the secrets of organic farming and how the grain can be transformed into delicious bread... You will also be able to taste some products that will surely make you think about how we feed ourselves.
SECOND STOP: THE MAGIC
Time : 4:00 pm
Villanúa
This marvellous place in the Pyrenees has many, many secrets. Do you want to know how important water is for Villanúa? Have you ever heard something strange in the woods? Have you ever heard that whisper in the washhouse? Walk around Villanúa with Dani the Magician Majo and let yourself be captivated by its legends, life stories, true events and magic, of course a lot of magic. A proposal from El Eventario that will not leave you indifferent.
THIRD STOP: THE WITCHES
Time : 6:30 pm
Yebra de Basa
We will learn about the history and intangible heritage of one of the most magical places in Aragon. We will be accompanied by one of the most important witches of La Jacetania and, with her magical staging, we will discover the most representative places of Yebra.
But it's not all fantasy and magic. Behind the "bruxa" there is a real story. Its author will tell us the lights and shadows up to the resurgence as ambassador of the bruxas of Aragon.
We will discover the importance of breaking with the stereotype of ugly and evil witches through a feminist perspective in order to give them their rightful place.
FOURTH STOP AND END OF THE FIRST DAY: THE TALK
Time : 8:30 pm
L'Almada de Yebra
After having the emotions of the whole day, our bruxa will join us for a snack-dinner with local products organised by the L'Almada de Yebra hostel and Almas 120 Brujas.
And the end of the day! Tomorrow we have another intense day ahead of us...
FIFTH STOP: THE BEEHIVE
Time : 10:30 am
Artosilla
Discover life inside the hive
We are among forests, in one of the villages of the Guarguera valley, which was restored almost 40 years ago. A very special place - no exaggeration - to discover the role of nature through bees. We will live a didactic, entertaining and enjoyable experience in a magnificent and welcoming sustainable beekeeping classroom, led by expert beekeepers, founders of A Redolada and descendants of those first repopulators.
We will approach the world of bees in an interactive way, we will learn about their life, their peculiarities and how they organise themselves and the products of the hive, and we will taste all of them.
SIXTH STOP: CIDERS AND APPLES
Time : 12:30 pm
Artosilla
Cider: encounters between pairings and biodiversity
Without leaving Artosilla, the owners of a small artisan and ecological cider press will open the doors of their house to us. They will tell us how the production of an exquisite cider is the final result of a project to recover old, native and high altitude apple tree varieties.
A clear commitment to biodiversity and food sovereignty.
We will taste three organic ciders with a pairing of local products and cheeses. A festival of flavours mixed with the ancestral knowledge of the land, surrounded by nature and tranquillity, and accompanied by the passion of the creators of A Finestra.
Once you have made your booking you will receive an email with instructions for payment by credit card or bank transfer directly to the initiative.
