The Campomiel Honey Factory

Bees and other pollinators are critical to ecosystem health and food security. They help maintain biodiversity and ensure the production of nutritious food. Pollination is a fundamental process for the survival of ecosystems, essential for the production and reproduction of many crops and wild plants.

To raise awareness about the importance of pollinators, Campo Miel has created the space "La Mielería", a place to share and disseminate with visitors from La Rioja and pilgrims passing through Ventosa the importance of bees in biodiversity and of course a place to enjoy the different meads and honeys made by hand.

We propose you to visit the bees live, get to know the aromatic plants, learn how bees live, enjoy the terrace and gastronomy area, workshops for children, and walks for the visually impaired to interact with the aromas and identify the flowers by touch and smell.
